Version 5.24a of all applications in the GoFiler Suite has been released. This release contains changes pertaining to the EDGAR 24.3 release, including support for the CYD 2024 taxonomy and the SBSEF family of forms. In addition, this update includes improvements and corrections to Form N-PX, Form N-CR, and Form N-MFP3. Please use the Check for Updates function to update your software to the latest version.
GoFiler Complete 5.24a
General EDGAR Updates
– Updated to EDGAR 24.3.
– Added Coregistrants for Form DRS and DRS/A.
– Added support for the following forms: SBSEF-CCO-RPT, SBSEF-CCO-RPT/A, SBSEF-FIN-QTR, SBSEF-FIN-QTR/A, SBSEF-FIN-REQ, and SBSEF-FIN-REQ/A.
Form N-MFP3 Updates
– Corrected an issue where an empty XML container for Part D would not be written out when saving the file if Part D was left blank.
– Part D is no longer reported as required by the validation function.
– Item B.11 is no longer reported as required by the validation function if A.10 is “Government” or A.10.a (retail money market fund) is set to “Yes”.
N-CR Updates
– The software will no longer write the investmentCompanyType tag if no type was selected.
N-PX Updates
– The shares fields now allow decimals when being imported.
– Corrected an issue that would cause errors if the items per page was set to a number higher than 1000 while editing.

– The Days Late field will now be saved as a comment.

– Corrected an issue with the SBS taxonomy that would result in duplicate labels.

– Corrected an issue that would cause the transformation tester to produce erroneous messages.
